Scientist catches a glimpse of an exploding star

A Princeton Scientist was honored to be the first person ever to actually see the results of an exploding Supernova. Scientists for years have dreamed of seeing a ‘live’ explosion but haver never seemed to have the chance…until now. Pretty awesome to think about the God who created all of the Universe…and one day we will get to understand…why did You create stars?
With the help of NASA’s Swift gamma-ray burst satellite, she observed a sudden burst of X-rays while studying the remnants of a supernova in a nearby galaxy. It is for the first time that astronomers manage to record a supernova, and not just the afterglow.-Full Story
