Gay is a go in L.A.

The first full day of legal gay marraige took place on Tuesday and hundreds were ready and waiting to be apart. Nearly a thousand people were outside City Hall  to get marraige licenses. Reports stated that many couples were from out of state. When California does something, it is usually followed by the rest of the country. Will that be the same with this? It made me think of a text from Luke 17:

28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
