Is Fat Your Fault?
July 29, 2008
In Los Angeles, the answer to this question is no. It was voted in Southern Los Angeles to ban fast-food restaurants. Now do you think the government should be able or even have to ‘ban’ trans-fats in California(that was last week too) or ban fast food. It seems a little bit forcing conscience?? I mean can we as citizens not take it into our own hands to choose health or not? Should the government start banning Starbucks around the country? I mean after all, caffeine will mess up your brain, your heart, etc. etc. Or maybe, All gas stations should be forced to stop selling all of the junk food they do. Where does this stop?
It is time that people start choosing to be healthy and let others around them see the results. Are you someone that when people look at you they think ” wow, that guy/girl is healthy…I wonder what they eat…or ‘ I bet they exercise’, practice temperance…etc. etc. If not, maybe you should be…especially Christians who read a book that shows us that the body is the temple of God.
