Palin says we should teach Creation…and Evolution???
September 3, 2008
Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin wants creationism taught in science classes. In a 2006 gubernatorial debate, the soon-to-be governor of Alaska said of evolution and creation education, “Teach both. You know, don’t be afraid of education. Healthy debate is so important, and it’s so valuable in our schools. I am a proponent of teaching both.” Asked by the Anchorage Daily News whether she believed in evolution, Palin declined to answer, but said that “I don’t think there should be a prohibition against debate if it comes up in class.”
“I’m not going to pretend I know how all this came to be,” she said. Full Story-Wired.com
What???? how all this came to be??? It is my understanding that Creation pretty much takes care of the idea of “how this all came to be” I find it fascinating how in the message to the Laodiceans in the book of Revelation, Jesus speaks in words that remind us of our beginnings. He knew that in the last days we would be easily decieved. Look at the wordage in the King James: “…the beginning of the creation of God…” as the final part of His intro to His beloved church.
Take Courage today. Jesus is coming soon to remove us from this world of suffering and pain. Take a chance today to think about anyone in your life that does not have the peace of a life to come that you do. And if you don’t…then ask Him to lead you from this day forward.

Her stance on this issue has pushed me across the line. I voted for Bush in the last election. I am a more fervent supporter of free-markets than any U.S. president ever (they’re all too left of center on economics for my liking).
Yet, this one issue is a breaking point for me. I cannot bring myself to vote for a team, where one person believes in middle-age theories. My support for free-markets and individual rights is based on reason, like the founding fathers.
