LONDON, Oct. 21 — British atheists announced Tuesday a high-profile advertising campaign to put posters on London buses that say: “There is probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life.”
By Tuesday night, as many as 3,400 donors had given about $80,000 on a Web site set up to take contributions to fund the ads.
It is fascinating though when you read the wordage that even in their bold defiance of their Creator, these athiests still use the word “probably”…does that not strike anyone as almost ironic and sad. These people will soon be able to see the real issues of the great controversy and they will have their choice as to whom they will serve. There are only two options. From one of the greatest nations on earth, Britain has become a yob-infested, dole-supported joke – well, it would be a joke if it wesn’t so sad. And why has this happened? Check how their churches have become bingo halls etc. Whatever else you may say about Christians (And I’m talking about real Christians, – followers of Christ – not religious people), they usually keep the law, have well disciplined children and make a contribution to the well-being of a nation. Unfortunately, the further England moves away from God, the worse she’s becoming.
‘Anything goes’.
Guys, really… stop worrying and enjoy your life. Do you really need to duel over other people’s beliefs? Let people believe what they want, would you like to try to be forced every day to convert to another religion? Just let people be for god sake!
For a purportedly tolerant organisation such as the church, it seems extremist to state that all Christians keep to the word of the law whilst suggesting that atheists have no moral compass whatsoever. Religious extremism is exactly what British atheists are targeting; to mock them for standing up for what they believe in does not illustrate any kind of civility.
Mike, I wonder why atheist need a “moral compass”, and where do they get this compass from. There is no moral in atheism. Survival of the fittest, that’s it. You simply cannot justify or explain the presence of moral code in humans without a God. Evolutionism can’t explain the presence of esthetic standards, as well.
As for the campaign, if there is no God, there is no purpose in life, no moral, no justice etc. So there is no difference between a human and a fly, or a dog, it doesn’t matter if you live or you die, so why bother to live?
Well Rob it is your opinion that if there is no god there is no purpose in life. My life is not for god, i live my life to enjoy it. I have a set of morals that are fabricated over the history of our world, some pointers taken from christianity other from pagans etc… My difference between a human and a fly is set through my morals who coincide with the morals of religious people. Thou shall not kill existed way before some guy decided to carve them on top of a mountain….. I live my life in a fair matter, i am happy and contribute in the neighbourhood i live in. I do not fear of god or any one else for that matter and i don’t need to. Animals need to fear, humans need not!
Look at the earth around you and how intricate every living thing is. How could all of earth and living things just happen. Selfishness and pride cause man to become full of himself. Evolutionist best guess is life started some how on the back of some crystal. Maybe we could spend another life time trying to figure where the crystal came from only to end up with a best guess. Unbelivable! Selfishness and pride causes man also to become his own god. Think about it. Is it really about whether there is a God or is it that most people need some kind of excuse to feel allright in living out their selfish pridefull and imoral desires? If you truely search your own heart you will find your true motives. When ever people are in some kind of major crisis or life threating situation even the atheists will cry “God help me!”
Chris…there is no “Fence-riding” here…either you are for God or you are against Him.
You need to read I and II Kings and see what God did to the rulers of the world who dared to mix Christianity with paganism.

Cory I have been trying to tell the christian this for about a year now. The bible is Roman doctrine in it’s many forms of versions…. The Christian has made a book their God instead of searching the scriptures to know of God, then comming to God through the Law. It’s the only way. This is the Way The messiah taught and Rome has perverted this. The information at the link illustrates how Christ fulfilled the Lamb prophecies in regards to real time. Every verse of testimony and history is there to prove it.
Does reading the information save anyone???? no.. they still need to come to God through the Law.
