    I rilly like this chart coz i know this is the real thing we should learn about our foundation before out reach spread the good news annd i would like to learn more of this

  2. Mr John Noel says:

    The 2520 “prophecy” is not a time prophecy at all. 2520 years on the Pioneer chart do measure the time between 677 BC and 1843-44 AD. This is not wrong. But the Bible does not teach 2520 years as a time prophecy. The longest time prophecy in the Bible is 2,300 years (Daniel 8:14), and for good reason. It’s central theme is Christ and His work of salvation for the human race. It is of such importance to us that the angel Gabriel was sent by God to reveal it’s meaning to Daniel. (see Daniel 9:21-27). Thus God’s people must not be distracted by any other time period.

    When studied critically it is seen clearly that this 2520 movement is a fanatical movement, and their theories are a mishmash of false teachings. Some teachers even give two different starting dates for this so-called prophecy (722BC and 677BC – ref. chart at http://www.2520yearprophecy.com/). Now how can God ever give two different dates for the same event? It is the same as announcing that Monday is on Tuesday for this week and Tuesday is on Monday for the next. This is confusion.

    Also along with this movement are false teachings such as 9/11 signified the falling of the latter rain. But if the latter rain started falling in 2001, where is the apostolic power and love of the Holy Spirit, like a mighty rushing wind, bringing unity and love to all because of His infilling? I am extremely saddened to say that after ten years of studying this movement, and further more, observing the fruit of its teaching, there is more than enough evidence to prove doctrinally and spiritually that this movement is not from God. It has brought confusion in God’s church in self-supporting and mainstream operations. It demoralises those who believe in it, and has left in its wake a stream of marriage break ups, domestic violence cases, fornication, proud, cold, unforgiving spirits, and confused brethren, some of whom have left the Christian faith because their minds have become so bemused after studying these false theories.

    My dear brethren, God is love, and the truth in Christ Jesus teaches His love. True prophetic teachings, like Jesus, are gentle, beautiful, yet powerful and strong enough to, when obeyed, though the blood of Christ, cleanse us from all sin. As an underlying teaching they help us understand the golden rule taught by Jesus: “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.” – Matthew 7:12. Quite simply the truth will, if we have faith in it, impart to us Christ’s heavenly love as taught by the Bible. God’s love teaches that the true object of life is service. It does not separate us from one another, or the church, or make us want to be “special ones”. Rather it seeks to unite, refine, and strengthen the ranks in Israel. It is when we have this unity and love in us, Christ’s righteousness, then the message will go forward, globally by God’s church, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

    Since the year 2000 we have warned and pleaded with many souls, at times with heartfelt tears, to stay away from this error. My serious advice to all, in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, is to with all your heart, mind, and soul, stay away from these teachings. Your eternal salvation truly depends upon it.

  3. Shane says:

    I find this the chart to be informative. I believe that the pioneers began understanding time prophecy as a result of discovering the 2520. John what bad things have resulted from studing and understanding the 2520, that haven’t been experienced by countless others studing basic doctrine that we hold true? Truth needs to be studied and not everyone will accept it.

    To me the 2520 amplifies the 2300 and it fits together with the rest of the pieces (70weeks, 1260, 1798, 1844 …) to precisely not be part of the time prophecy. If not part of the time prophecy, then is it just a coincidence?

    In the end, if understanding 2520 or anthing else for that matter is drawing you into a closer walk with Christ daily, as it has with me, I believe it needs to be studied and understood.

    Surely there are people that goto extremes with anything, but that is their problem for loosing focus on Christ. How many people have left the church over health reform? That does not mean health reform is not truth and shouldn’t be taught any longer. The same principle applies with the 2520. It is truth and it should be studied. If an individual gets caught up in fanaticism it isn’t our responsibility to declare that the teaching shouldn’t be studied, and tell people to stay away from it especialy when it is truth.

  4. Shane, I have an article on the 2520 under “articles” at my website. You are right that teaching the 2520 doesn’t make someone into a fanatic. William Miller and Hiram Edson taught it, and they were not fanatical.

    Still, Uriah Smith and James White both concluded that it was no time prophecy at all. And if anyone after 1857 disagreed with their conclusion, their disagreement never made it into print.

    This doesn’t prove anything, but I suggest a reading of my article for a fuller historical development of the story. And find there, also, some Biblical data that is poorly known, as well as material relating to EGW’s endorsement of the charts.

    Be faithful,

    Eugene Prewitt

  5. Nicole says:

    Mr. Noel,

    I will verily take your advice. I’ve had much, in the last few months, to make me thankful for the biblical advice to study to show thyself approved and also searching the scriptures to see what is correct and right.

    I had an encounter with the Shepherd’s Rod movement and out of it God led me to write a book entitled the Shepherd’s Fraud. Many movements like this take statements from EGW and wrest them from their proper context in order to “prove” that they are in agreement and yet totally ignore those statements she makes that contradict their position.

    EGW said that the 3 Angels’ Message was the last warning message to the world. She is very clear and specific about when and what happens during the Latter Rain. People setting times for things (9/11, etc.) are the indication that they are heading down the wrong path. Victor Houteff placed the beginning of the judgement of the living in 1929. Ironically, the same year he wrote his Satan inspired rhetoric.

    The fact remains, though, that the Spirit will lead into all truth. Those who do not listen will have no excuse. Many tears will be shed for those who refuse to hear the sound council of God’s Word and the messenger He sent, but God has promised us that He will wipe every tear from our eyes. Until then, keep them uplifted in prayer. Some may be Sauls, where only God, Himself can get through to them and knock them off of their horse so they’ll see the light.

    In His Service,
    N.T.

  6. Bro Haywood says:

    The prophet of the lord says In order to be rightly understood and appreciated,every truth in the word of God,from Genesis to Revelation,must be studied in the light of the cross of calvary. So when we deal with these subjects we first need to ask ourself what is the point behind teaching certain subjects. If theres any thing we need to Know, it is the 2300 day prophecy because it points to Christ position in the heavenly sanctuary and where we are in time (the day of atonement) Jesus is soon to come and we need to be spotless! now I will not be little the 2520 because there are some things on the chart we need to know, the prophecy also shows the results of disobedience , but… i think the question is whats more needful to know at this time? When no new questions are started by investigation of the scriptures,when no difference of opinion arises which will set men to searching the bible for themselves, to make sure that they have the truth, there will be many now, as in ancient times, who will hold to tradition, and worship they know not what. (GW p.298.) lets pray for one another that all will come to a knowledge of the truth,and that is Jesus is coming soon (LETS BE READY!)

  7. Bro C. Mangar says:

    Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree:Gal.3:13

    In regard to the 2520 AKA 7 Times,Blessings and curses,Scattering and the Gathering Ect. I would encourage everyone who is interested in finding out the truth of this matter to keep in mind certain Biblical injunctions taught therein. Isa.8:20; Rev.14:12; Jn. 5:39 2Tim 2:15; Mat.4:4 .

    To those who wish to refute the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy upon this subject my question to you is that according to the Scriptures Christ gives a principle that in the mouth of two or three witnesses may the matter be established, Deut.19:15,Jn 8:17;. in order to establish the 1844 movement as a fulfillment of prophecy {Dan. 8:14} where is your second witness if you make of non effect the 2520 which points us to the gathering time(EW74)in which God said he would do in 1884 at the end of the scattering ?

    Another principle found in the Scriptures is the fact that Satan seeks to counterfeit the work of Christ, For example Sunday for Sabbath, the Dragon, Beast and false Prophet in the place of the Godhead ect… The 2520 not only shows us Satan two forms of opposition to the people of God (ST 11-1-1899 Par.4), but as Christ came to confirm the Covenant with many for 1 week {Dan 9:27) or 7 years or 2525 literal days. Christ ministry on earth was for 3 1/2 years or 1260 days. after Chris death the gospel continued for another 3 1/2 yrs to be given to the Jewish nation through his disciples. If you add 1260 plus 1260, the sum equals 2520. The 2520 also teaches the Paganism trampled Gods people for 1260 (BC723-AD538) then the palpal system continued for another 1260(AD538-AD1798) equaling 2520 yrs. of desolations (see Dan. 9:26 Lk.21:24. Much more truth in conveyed in the original messages given to us from 1840-44. For those of you who seek to walk in the old paths where is the good way and find rest your souls. I leave you with a few quotes from inspiration.

    May God bless!

    “I saw a company who stood well guarded and firm, giving no countenance to those who would unsettle the established faith of the body. God looked upon them with approbation. I was shown three steps– the first, second, and third angels’ messages. Said my accompanying angel, “Woe to him who shall move a block or stir a pin of these messages. The true understanding of these messages is of vital importance.
    The destiny of souls hangs upon the manner in which they are received.” I was again brought down through these messages, and saw how dearly the people of God had purchased their experience. It had been obtained through much suffering and severe conflict. God had led them along step by step, until He had placed them upon a solid, immovable platform. I saw individuals approach the platform and examine the foundation. Some with rejoicing immediately stepped upon it. Others commenced to find fault with the foundation. They wished improvements made, and then the platform would be more perfect, and the people much happier. Some stepped off the platform to examine it and declared it to be laid wrong. But I saw that nearly all stood firm upon the platform and exhorted those who had stepped off to cease their complaints; for God was the Master Builder, and they were fighting against Him. They recounted the wonderful work of God, which had led them to the firm platform, and in union raised their eyes to heaven and with a loud voice glorified God. This affected some of those who had complained and left the platform, and they with humble look again stepped upon it.” {EW 258.3}

    “Through paganism, and then through the Papacy, Satan exerted his power for many centuries in an effort to blot from the earth God’s faithful witnesses. Pagans and papists were actuated by the same dragon spirit. They differed only in that the Papacy, making a pretense of serving God, was the more dangerous and cruel foe.”(ST 11-1-1899)

    “Men may get up scheme after scheme, and the enemy will seek to seduce souls from the truth, but all who believe that the Lord has spoken through Sister White, and has given her a message, will be safe from the many delusions that will come in these last days.”–Letter 50, 1906. {3SM 83.5}

    “One thing is certain: Those Seventh-day Adventists who take their stand under Satan’s banner will first give up their faith in the warnings and reproofs contained in the Testimonies of God’s Spirit.” {3SM 84.3}

  8. Lincoln G. says:

    I strongly agree with the last quote about Seventh-day Adventists enlisting under Satan’s banner giving up faith in the warnings and reproofs contained in the testimonies of God’s Spirit. Let us watch and pray and not despise prophecies but surrender ourselves each day and humble ourselves before God for the “time is at hand.” May God God help us to fight the good fight of faith and to remember Isa. 8:20 because in these last days error will so closely resemble the truth that only those who search the scriptures and are filled with the Spirit will be able to distinguish between error and truth, right and wrong. The sheep hear the voice of the true shepherd and will not obey the voice of a stranger.
    God Bless.

    Hi Everyone

    The 2520 was believed by our pioneers to be a time prophecy.

    Consider the information on the following link:

    There are some interesting audio and video presentations as well.

    May God guide us into all truth!

  11. Mark says:

    To Mr John Noels

    The Bible tells us to be like the Bereans, and check if these things that you say are so:

    Isa 8:20 To the Law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this word, it is because their is ni light in them.

    You stated the following:

    “The 2520 “prophecy” is not a time prophecy at all. Thus God’s people must not be distracted by any other time period.”

    It is interesting that on one hand you the 2520 is correct, yet on the other say it is not a time prophecy??

    You said that Daniel was guided by the Angel Gabriel, well so was William Miller, as told us by the pen of inspiration, who calls him the chosen one.

    God sent His angel to move upon the heart of a farmer who had not believed the Bible, to lead him to search the prophecies. Angels of God repeatedly visited that chosen one, to guide his mind and open to his understanding prophecies which had ever been dark to God’s people. The commencement of the chain of truth was given to him, and he was led on to search for link after link, until he looked with wonder and admiration upon the Word of God. He saw there a perfect chain of truth. That Word which he had regarded as uninspired now opened before his vision in its beauty and glory. He saw that one portion of Scripture explains another, and when one passage was closed to his understanding, he found in another part of the Word that which explained it. He regarded the sacred Word of God with joy and with the deepest respect and awe. {EW 229.1}

    It was necessary for them to portray these “TRUTHS” on a Chart, this chart was a fulfillment of the prophecy of Habakkuk 2.

    As early as 1842 the direction given in this prophecy to “write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it,” had suggested to Charles Fitch the preparation of a prophetic chart to illustrate the visions of Daniel and the Revelation. The publication of this chart was regarded as a fulfillment of the command given by Habakkuk. No one, however, then noticed that an apparent delay in the accomplishment of the vision–a tarrying time–is presented in the same prophecy. After the disappointment, this scripture appeared very significant: “The vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. . . . The just shall live by his faith.” {GC 392.2}

    Their faith was greatly strengthened by the direct and forcible application of those scriptures which set forth a tarrying time. As early as 1842, the Spirit of God had moved upon Charles Fitch to devise the prophetic chart, which was generally regarded by Adventists as a fulfillment of the command given by the prophet Habakkuk, “to write the vision and make it plain upon tables.” {4SP 241.2}

    This chart was directed by God who cannot lie!!

    ” I have seen that the 1843 chart was directed by the hand of the Lord, and that it should not be altered; that the figures were as He wanted them; that His hand was over and hid a mistake in some of the figures, so that none could see it, until His hand was removed.” {EW 74)

    The mistake was a misunderstanding that the Gregorian calendar was missing the year zero, God did not allow anyone to notice this mistake till after the first disappointment, He wanted to test the people, the prophecies however were all correct, God cannot lie.

    Jesus and all the heavenly host looked with sympathy and love upon those who had with sweet expectation longed to see Him whom their souls loved. Angels were hovering around them, to sustain them in the hour of their trial. Those who had neglected to receive the heavenly message were left in darkness, and God’s anger was kindled against them, because they would not receive the light which He had sent them from heaven. Those faithful, disappointed ones, who could not understand why their Lord did not come, were not left in darkness. Again they were led to their Bibles to search the prophetic periods. The hand of the Lord was removed from the figures, and the mistake was explained. They saw that the prophetic periods reached to 1844, and that the same evidence which they had presented to show that the prophetic periods closed in 1843, proved that they would terminate in 1844. Light from the Word of God shone upon their position, and they discovered a tarrying time–”Though it [the vision] tarry, wait for it.” In their love for Christ’s immediate coming, they had overlooked the tarrying of the vision, which was calculated to manifest the true waiting ones. Again they had a point of time. Yet I saw that many of them could not rise above their severe disappointment to possess that degree of zeal and energy which had marked their faith in 1843. p. 236, Para. 1, [EW].

    It is clear from the above statement, that the prophecies (Plural) which pointed to 1843, now pointed to 1844, there were 3 of them, the 1335, the 2300, and the 2520. The 1335 however cannot be affected by the year zero, it will always point to 1843, that only leaves two prophecies to point to 1844, the 2520 and the 2300.

    “I saw the people of God joyful in expectation, looking for their Lord. But God designed to prove them. His hand covered a mistake in the reckoning of the prophetic periods. Those who were looking for their Lord did not discover this mistake, and the most learned men who opposed the time also failed to see it. God designed that His people should meet with a disappointment. The time passed, and those who had looked with joyful expectation for their Saviour were sad and disheartened, while those who had not loved the appearing of Jesus, but embraced the message through fear, were pleased that He did not come at the time of expectation. Their profession had not affected the heart and purified the life. The passing of the time was well calculated to reveal such hearts. They were the first to turn and ridicule the sorrowful, disappointed ones who really loved the appearing of their Saviour. I saw the wisdom of God in proving His people and giving them a searching test to discover those who would shrink and turn back in the hour of trial.” {EW 235.3}

    After 1844 it was urged upon Sister to White to produce a second witness to show that the truths on the 1843 Chart were indeed true, she was therefore urged to produce a second chart to confirm these points. She states very clearly that the “TRUTH” is to be put on this Chart, which is also made by God.

    Our next conference was in Fairhaven. Brother Bates and wife were present. It was quite a good meeting. On our return to Brother Nichols’, the Lord gave me a vision and showed me that the “TRUTH” must be made plain upon tables, and it would cause many to decide for the truth by the three angels’ messages, with the two former being made plain upon tables. {16MR 207.1}

    I saw that God was in the publishment of the chart by Brother Nichols. I saw that there was a prophecy of this chart in the Bible, and if this chart is designed for God’s people, if it [is] sufficient for one it is for another, and if one needed a new chart painted on a larger scale, all need it just as much. {13MR 359.1}

    Get a copy of the 1850 Chart and you will see clearly that the 2520 is still on there clearly, along with the DAILY being Paganism, and the 5th and 6th Trumpets are Islam.

    As for you saying that this prophecy is not in the Bible is a falacy, don’t you realise if you reject God’s word you reject Christ Himself?

    My last point my friend, there is only one accuser of the brethren, please be careful who you call fanatics, they did the same to all the Prophets in the past, and then they crucified Christ, do you think it will be any different at the end?

    1Cor 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

    Ecc 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
    Ecc 1:10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.

    Ecc 3:15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.

    Joh 16:1 These things have I spoken unto you, that ye should not be offended.
    Joh 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

    Make sure you don’t reject the very thing you need my friend.

    Shalom!
