  2. Kyheem says:

To what Christ has already fullfilled in justification and righteousness; to seek approval in the eyes of God ( by your righteuosness ) is to put aside grace that is found only in the Lord. The ten commandments will be in us, no man can keep the ten commandment of his own efferts, if he dose it is nothing if not motivated by love it is nothing and this love can only come from God it is by His works that you keep the ten commandment, if so be that the Spirit of Love ( God ) dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of God he is none of His, however, you cannot uptaine the Spirit of God by your efferts it is only by the power of God through believing and believing is not of your works neither but it is the work of God jn6:63 by trusting in his Son through the hearing of faith or the hearing of the word of God Rom10:17 and trusting in what you hear from the word of God after such in that or this very moment you are sealed with the Holy Ghost Ehp1:13. The keeping of the commandments of the Lord also includes such passages as this; to love the Lord your God more than the life of your own family Matt 10:37-39; Rev12:11, will you love God more than anything in your life and of it. Notice also in Rev 12:11 how we overcome the beast, through the blood of the Lamb and not of our efferts, remember also, to use this blood we must drank of it and eat the flesh of it, how? you may say; in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. Jn 1:1,2\nAnd the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us… Jn 1:14\n\nVerily, verily, I say onto you, he the heareth my Word and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death to life. Jn 5:24\nI am the bread of life. Jn 6:48\n\n 53Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.\n\n 54Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.\n\n 55For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.\n\n 56He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.\n\n 57As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.\n\n 58This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.\nJohn 6:53-58\n\n 23And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.  1 John 3:23\n\n 24And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. 1jn 3:24\n \n 28Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jn 6:28,29\n\n 29Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.\n\n 23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. Jn 14:23\n\nDwelling in the Word of God, reading it daily, thinking it daily, renewing of your mind of it daily. This is the eating of His flesh and drinking of the blood, Because His words thay are Spirit and life. Jn 6;63. GOD BLESS YOU MY BOTHER SISTER OF THE FAITH. Study these passeges over with your church. Amen  \n\n \n\n

  3. John says:

What a blessing to realize that Jesus wants us to focus on him and allow him to make us ready so we can “be ready” and not just trying to be ready.\n\nAn emphasis on last day events inspires fears, reminds us how unholy we are and keeps us looking at ourselves instead of Jesus.\n\nThis will put out of business some of the “ministries” that capitalize on making Adventists afraid and legalistic.

  4. Carrie says:

Yes of course I agree Jesus is central in every thought word or deed we have. BUT we do have a part to play in all of this. We MUST follow in all areas the counsel we have been given especiaaly at this time in history. In 1888 God gave EGW several visions of how we are to be living to prepare for the physical strife that is ahead. We all know Jesus said it will be a “time of trouble such as never was” on the face of this earth and we do have a responcibility in that. Read her book country life here you will see what we as a people must do to ensure that the tempation to take the mark will not be an issuse because we are living according to Jesus instruction to us living in the last days. And if He asks us to then He will find the way for us to do it.AMEN?AMEN!
