As I am sure if you are a user of email or one who watches the news, you have most definitely heard your share of Obama love or Obama hate. One thing I have seen is how much Christians really want to hate on our president. I get emails all of the time about how our president doesn’t have a birth certificate or how he is a muslim and that is enough for us to hate him. Sorry friends but that is a different brand of christianity than I know of. Here is a picture to the right of exactly the garbage that is floating around.–>

So I now know that if I believe the Bible, that God allowed for/led/made or whatever you want to say that Barack Obama should be our president. If that is not true, then my God is full of lies and I can trust nothing He says!
Where do we as Christians get off with our hate mongering? We love to hate us some Muslims yet let me give you some beliefs that the Quran teaches and see if they dont’ shock you!
-Belief in a day of judgment,
-the dead sleep until Issa(Jesus) comes back a second time to get the saints.
-We are not to be defiled by pork, or any other item that defiles the human body
-Belief in Prayer,
-Belief in Holy Living
Should I go on? That might hit real close to home to some of us bible believing Christians. So next time we want to hate on some of them, let us remember that God did not come down to this earth to save the Righteous but to seek and save the Lost. We are to minister to EVERYONE…
Pray for the president. I believe with all of my heart that God has brought this man to the white house to buy His people a little more time to do what He is waiting to do…share His love with the world while there is still freedom to do that. Because here this: The time is coming when this religious right that many of my own brothers are seeming to act like will lump Sabbath keepers into the same boat with Muslims and Terrorists and then we will see who is being hated then.
I am more afraid of the religious right than I am any other force on the earth. A. because they are in bible prophecy as the ones that will lead the charge to rid the world of Sabbath Keepers and B. because they are stocking up on guns and ammunition for a war that I guess they are planning on???… Don’t believe me? Come on down to the south and let me introduce you to my friends…You would think they are setting up a small army.
Pray God will help us to see the time in which we live and to pray that He will continue to lead us closer to Him.

didnt Obama push for new laws that go against your constitution? (right to bear arms, freedom of speech etc etc) didnt the Bible say, “dont be yoked with unbelievers”? Yet we know what happened during the Micheal Jackson memorial G8 summit in June with the pope? There could be hope like the story about Saul/Paul, but I also do know about the connection between the 1st and the 2nd beast.. If you truely believe that we are living in the last days, then which one of these stories is likely to happen very soon? The Saul/Paul senario or the 1st-2nd beast connection? What is the SDA’s mission for these last days? You know it…But are you doing it?
I agree, honor your leaders, to do so you are respecting God but be aware of them because most of them are working the will of satan and is enforcing his requirements.
All God asks us to do is not be deceived and make spiritual preparation in our own hearts. Satan can do nothing unless God allows it. Know that our God is big enough and doesn’t need our help. He didn’t for creation, didn’t for redemption and won’t to make this church triuphant. Even if Satan influences our leaders (Obama) to kill God’s people, it would only be possible by the Hand of God. Please see John 19:10 and 11 to understand this principle found in the exchange between Jesus and Pilate. Pilate threatens Jesus to speak to him as the one who had power to crucify Him. But Jesus corrects him that he could “have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above:”. Therefore, if the Father would allow Pilate the “authority” to kill His Son, why do we think that we have some part to play in what ultimately will come on God’s people from leadership. In the face of His own death, He remained in sujbection to the will of His Father and the authority of leadership. I want to be like Jesus. Again, we are only counseled to “be not deceived” and to use pen and paper against the passing of “certain” legislation. May the Lord lighten our paths to heed every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

Hey Bro,Im not debating on whether God put Obama in the White house or not.Our fight is not against flesh or blood, but every puppet has someone above it pulling the strings. I guess what Im saying is whether Obama as a person is a good or bad dude, his strings are obviously being pulled that will ultimately bring the 2nd beast into a partnership with the 1st beast this is evident in the world today..If SDA’s dont believe that then I guess we’re NOT living in the last days.. Bro I too am confused over your comment and this article..Why would God set up a Bad king to persecute his people? To smack his people into line? To force us to turn to him out of fear?That doesnt seem like a very Loving God.Didnt Jesus come to seek and save the lost,and to show us the father? HI, I’d like to say that God is over us all….God knows the end from the beginning, and He will allow what He will allow… We know that these things will happen… Our job is to develop a Christ like character and to love God with all our hearts, and our fellow man…. so when the persecution does hit and we know it will that we will stand and not let God down, and die for our beliefs if that is Gods’ will…Besides when all is said and done we don’t know who all God’s people are and through whatever may come God’s people will hear God’s call and be a part of the Remnant… it will be people from ALL churches,all creeds, all nations,former atheists and I’ve read in SOP that the people most opposed to the cause of God and have been redeemed will be closest to the throne in heaven???
