   Unfortunately this is not the ark. Ron got it way wrong. These place are all the Armenian Highlands, and in order for the researchers to find the ark the have to go through the Armenians not the Turks. The Ark itself is found located on greater Masis (Ararat) and its mostly covered with icy snow. Nat. Geo. is looking at all the wrong places. =(

   No, “we all” cannot imagine why it hasn’t been found for the most simple reason. 1) Maybe this is the ark that has been found or 2) it’s somewhere else barried under the ice or dirt. We find it or not, has little to do with accuracy of the Biblical account. There’s enough evidence to trust the Bible. It takes an amazing amoung of faith to believe in the fary tales of millions of years than to trust the story that is around 4000 years old only.

   You seem to miss the third option, which fits the non existence of evidence. There is no ark.

   And concerning your comparison there at the end.
   There is evidence for evolution, there is none for the ark. If you have any, please present them here.

   Sir: There is a 4th option, It has not been found because maybe God doesn’t want it found now. And in regards to Evoulution…That is so totally false. Monkey’s don’t have the same DNA that humans do. In fact try seraching out a protein molecule called Laminin. There is no monkeys in my mind only the gift of our Creator…(who wasn’t a monkey & created us “upright” in HIS image)Besides what does evolution have to do with the ark??? NOTHING except there were monkeys on it…

   To by into the ideology of evolution is not very wise. The bible is truthful an very factual if you actually take the time to look into it with a non-clouded mind. In, addition Jesus Christ is very real. I urge to wake up an not follow the ways of this world for it will perish very soon.

    Yeah, we can only imagine that about monkeys and evolution. Here’s the real question: Are monkeys/apes today evolving into humans? Why do people really believe that? And this EARTH is not millions of years old. I’m tired of hearing that one too. I believe we can’t even put a number on the universe, probably always been around with God, but this earth is only a few thousand years young. I have to keep reminding my kids when they come home with assignments from school that the earth being “millions of years” theory is false since we believe in God and His Word. And how come people won’t believe in the Bible, but they’ll believe what other people wrote in books when they weren’t there either? Why should we believe any book for that matter? God is the truth and so is His Word. If more people read it and prayed to understand it, they would believe it comes from God.

    I have now read through the article, and have a few objections.

    First I want to say that the find fits perfectly in with the Theory of Evolution, there can be no doubt about that.

    Second, for this to fit in with the Biblical account, Adam or Eve would have to have been created with this chromosome fusion, or another common ancestor to Noah, AND his son’s wives. Does that seem likely to you?

    Correction: It would be enough for Noah to have it, IF all his children inherited his fused gene, AND their kids also inherited it. Which is possible, but highly unlikely.

    You can dance around the ‘chromosome’ issue all you want. What we know ‘today’ about DNA disproves evolution. Those who came up with the THEORY of evolution, many years ago did not know what we know today about DNA.. period. Fact is - no true scientist today would be involved in the evolution debate - why is that?\n;)
