A Christ-less Christianity

In a world full of noise with every possible moment competed for by so many outlets, is it possible to find hope without Christ? Ok, so we agree probably not. We live in a world though that sure does try to fill up all religious activity with noise. I am not speaking of the ‘world’. That is not our concern in this article.
There is a noise in the Christian church. That noise is sometimes the music. It is sometimes the preaching. It is sometimes the hours upon hours of programming for kids. Is it possible that we spend so much time playing church that we forget about Christ?
It is one thing to say you know Christ, it is an entirely different for Christ to say He knows you. As you go through the coming week, think about the ‘gift’ of salvation that is so powerful to change lives. Seek for true religion by doing the works that Christ did. By living as Christ lived, we will become more like Him. This is His method. If we do not do this and all we do is go to church once or twice a week and fill our minds with spiritual food then we will become ’spiritually constipated’.

I am SERIOUSLY concerned for our Adventist churhces. In a Bible study recently I literally felt a spiritual battle between good and evil when another “Adventist” was going against what God has CLEARLY said about observing His Sabbaths. This person defends going to his job on Sabbaths as doing good for others, as something God wants us to do on the Sabbath. I cannot even get into what other erroneous comments about God’s word were said from him. WE ARE NEAR THE END. Our own church members are apostasing…BY THE THOUSANDS! I believe the straight truth about SABBATH REFORM will be ONE of those truths that will cause a shaking among our church and a great division among Adventist. By God’s MERCY please study, read, pray, and meditate on what God has said about SABBATH REFORM among ADVENTIST!! Testimonies Volume 6 is where you can read about Sabbath reform!!!
I believe a lot of us can get “spiritually constipated”, without realizing it! I feel, a pull from other christian brothers I love, to come to another view.\n We all should focus our energies on pulling our friends and family down off that fence of “saved, on one side, and lost, on the other”, by keeping the wittness simple. I hear what your saying Eli, Ive seen it, heard it and, and shaken my head many times too .. Satan surely is at war!!! Those people should have really studied the last quarterly on Numbers People on the move… So relevant today for Gods end -time church…
Tom, what are you saying? That our love for Christ will NOT compel us to obey? If you love me keep my commandments. We are watering down God’s character in His law by claiming “Peace and Safety”. We ALL need to read the story of Ahab and Jezebel and Israels apostasy. SOP says this history WILL BE REPEATED. I see it happening NOW. It’s in Prophets and Kings.
