Can Somebody be Saved or Lost depending on the version of the Bible they use? Some Think So-
Thu, Dec 3, 2009
In what appears to be a growing movement of discontent, there are a number of bible ’scholars’ that are debating if certain version actually speak the truth or if they are mistranslated. Full Story
Do you ever wonder if God is big enough to save someone no matter what version they use? I know that some might call me an apostate for saying something like that but seriously?! I believe some will make it into the Kingdom of Heaven that have not so much as read the first page of the bible or heard the name Jesus Christ. I believe God will judge us based on the light that we follow. Some will never have the light that you or I may have.
Now having said that, I for one am in a heap of trouble due to the amount of ‘blinding’ light that I am aware of. I will absolutely be held to a higher standard than that of someone who doesn’t know what I know.
What do you think? Is God able to save even those that may not realize they worship Him?

I know I serve an all powerful God who will save His people no matter what version they are reading. If they are seeking God, they will find Him. Sure, some versions are better for study than others, but the free gift of salvation and a loving God are in every version.
Correct me if Im wrong but…”Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come”….tells me that everyone will hear the Truth before Earths final day, regardless of what Bible version one may have,God is fair(Revelation 15:3),and Im sure he’ll give everyone the option to chose who they want to follow…Romans 3:3-9 3. For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
4. God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
5. But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? [Is] God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)
6. God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world? 7. For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner?
8. And not [rather], (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.
9. What then? are we better [than they]? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
and Im guessing only babies and infants who have passed away should be the only ones asking Jesus “What happened to your hands”
