The staunch supporters of the so-called Material Prosperity will naturally maintain the same sort of hostility that Cain showed toward Abel.I have noticed how angry, upset and agitated many of them become over someone who attempts to teach the flip side of this greed doctrine. They usually react by calling the faithful and the balanced teachers, “Poverty Preachers.” Just as the Pharisees did Jesus, the modern day Covetous Con Men mocks anyone who teaches sound doctrine. Luke 6:13-15 Instead of seeking a sensible Scriptural justification for their doctrine, (which actually doen’t exist) they claim to have been give a special divine revelation from God. Just as 2 Peter reveals, thru covetousness they use phony words, lies, false testimonies and false promises from God to mislead the gullible.
