There is nothing I can do to get my character in harmony with the law of God, that is His work in me through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is wanting to reproduce in me that Agape love that He had placed in Adam before the fall, so that I will love Him supremely and my neighbour as myself. Jesus said that is the fulfilling of the law. I am saved by the grace of God through a faith obedience. 1 Cor.1:30 says that "He has become wisdom for me, that is my justification, sanctification and glorification. That is why Paul says I am spiritually already in heavenly places in Christ. I am appearing in the judgment in Christ and there is "no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus". If you are in Him you have nothing to fear Jonathan. The Holy Spirit is making a reality in our everyday lives what we already are in Christ Jesus and that is sanctified. Our holy living gives Him all the honour and the glory and is the evidence that we are In Him. Our deeds have no merit whatsoever for salvation, however, if you are In Him right living will be the end result. So take courage and remain in a beautiful relationship with Jesus and trust Him, He is your salvation. Our salvation is from above and was worked out from the foundation of the world.
