Regarding the Earthquake in Rome: One man was being interviewed and I thought you would be interested in this mans comments. Here is the link to the article: Full Story “I asked him why, when there had been reports of tremors all month, this earthquake could not have been predicted.
He shrugged. ‘There have been tremors here almost continuously for nearly six months and we get used to them,’ he said. ‘It’s impossible to predict exactly when an earthquake will strike.’”
Are we not experiencing “tremors” in our society? We need to be prepared. Maybe not for an earthquake but other catastrophes such as food shortage, money lack, water lack or worse yet spiritual numbness. I do not want to “get used” to the tremors in our society. This is not the time to fold our hands and go to sleep. I am so thankful that we have a guide book to teach us the what‘s (what to expect), where’s (where to go), when’s (when to flee) and whys (why things are happening).
Thank you Heidi for sending in this article.
A year later and millions of Americans are dead and the nation’s infrastructure lies in tatters. The World Bank declares America a developing nation. Europe, Scandinavia, China and Japan are also struggling to recover from the same fateful event – a violent storm, 150 million kilometres away on the surface of the sun.
It sounds ridiculous. Surely the sun couldn’t create so profound a disaster on Earth. Yet an extraordinary report funded by NASA and issued by the US National Academy of Sciences (NAS) in January this year claims it could do just that. Watch Video
With all of the events going on around the world, it easy to lose hope. Jesus gave us words of encouragment in Luke 21. Keep focused on the prize that has been set before us and do not lose hope. We are on the edge of eternity and now is no time to go after the apples of sodom…
The Coming of the Son of Man

The Parable of the Fig Tree
  Â
29 Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. 30 When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near.31 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that … Read More »
An analysis made recently on earthquake activity around New York City, has found a large number of small faults. It is believed that all of these together could trigger major damage.Â
Isn’t it interesting to hear a report like this? What am I to think about this? Why in the world does the news report this stuff? Is it just to scare us? Oh and I forgot to mention that one of the bigger fault lines comes within two miles of a huge nuclear power plant. Full Story
